Slipped stitch patterns are almost always the way to go when beating a feisty colorway like this into some semblance of submission. Purl stitches also add some interest and break up the colors differently than knits, so a slipped stitch design with a purl background ended up being ideal for this yarn. The stitch isn’t overly complicated, because this colorway would eat complicated for breakfast.

Yarn Requirements: fingering-weight yarn, approx 400 yds (sample uses Knitted Wit Superwash Merino Fingering in Ladies That Lunch)

Gauge: 32 sts/48 rows = 4” in stockinette st on size 1 (2.25mm) ndls
Difficulty: intermediate
Sizes: 7.5 (8.5)" foot circumference
